The DHEF is designed to offer students with basic skills in repairing and maintaining a range of equipment driven by diesel engines including heavy earth-moving equipment.  It will also include the use of hand and power tools, planning work activities, interpret drawings, basic automotive, welding, using range of precision tools, diagnosing faults in components, bearings, tune diesel engine, work on breaking, steering and engineering cooling system.
